yes they are expensive at present.. but like you say i can get both the PM6005 and CD6005 but also the NA6005 with the Dali Zensor 3's for just under £1100 with the PM7005 will take it just over £1200.......

the PM7005 seems to be a good alternitive and only £50-£70 more than the new PM6006! if i get that with the CD6005 (rather than the PM6006) (saving another £150) i can get some Dali Zensor 3 Speakers and leaves me a bit of cash left for the Marantz nework player. NA6005?

wow! vast difference in price at the moment i can get the PM6005 and CD6006 at around £230-£250 the PM8005 is around £500-£600 if i also get the NA6005 network player and a pair of £300 speakers for around £1000-£1200 the network player also gives me an additional USB port like on the cd player...

i could go for the PM7005 and the UD7007 this combo better amp and a player that does SACD and CD? then agian this takes me to £1000 with them costing around £499 each i still have to get speakers and the network player and would take me well over budget but i could save up for a couple of more...
