Sorry to dig out this old thread but i'm current experiencing similar problems with the Brio-r buzzing. What i'd like to detail exactly is the conditions of the hum/buzz. My (two day old) set-up consists of an Rp3 - Brio-r - Chord Rumour cable - Mission m71i's (waiting for RS1's to turn up)...

Thanks for the reply. Too be honest I've heard neither at this stage. I'm due to hear the zensors soon, but when I tried to book a demo for the rs1's I was told they weren't being produced anymore as they were revising there line. The rs1s would be a blind (or deaf in this case!) buy.

Hi all. I'm on the lookout for some new speakers to pair my rp3 /brio-r. I'm currently looking at some slight-seconds RS1, but still torn if these will trump the Dali Zensor 3. Has anyone worked with either of these? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the advice. Most probably going to demo both and see. I'm really tempted by the Brio-r, but it's simply the price. Everything all of a sudden looks very expensive..

Thanks for the reply. I forgot to say I'd plan on getting a phono. Possibly a Rega mini or Graham Slee. I'm sure the D 3020 will do a good job, but do you think a dedicated amp like a brio might perform better? Maybe I'm splitting hairs :)
