    Marantz Network Player Problem

There is probably a micro-processor in your NA7004 as there is the 603/611 all-in-ones. More than likely wants re-setting. Should be in your manual. Likely to lose any favourites that may be stored on the Internet Radio when you do it though. Rick

    Marantz MCR-610. Internet radio problem.

Not got the 610 but I do have the 603. When that started behaving oddly, first noticed a problem using the USB input, I ended up having to do a Processor Reset. I was loathe to do it because all favourites saved on Internet Radio are lost, but Marantz support said it was the only option I had...

    Fake cds

I've been caught out a couple of times. Bought Sabbath 'Live At Hammersmith Odeon' a few years ago. It was a limited edition only 5,000 made and each one numbered. My copy has no number on it. Plays ok and artwork etc. is first rate. Checked it out with Sabbath experts and I now know it's a...

    Legendary bands

Don't see why you can't have Hendrix jjbomber. Had a look at the thread title and it doesn't specify British. Forgot a few of my list - Iron Maiden, Thin Lizzy and Free. Finding it difficult to come up with American rock bands, that I like, that had the same impact. Hendrix of course and some...

    Legendary bands

Some great bands already mentioned, but also some glaring ommissions imho. How about Cream, Dire Straits, Scorpions, AC/DC, Wishbone Ash, Jethro Tull. All great bands. And some more that, for me, sit on the edge of 'legendary' are Groundhogs, Ten Years After and Uriah Heep.

What was your first ever hifi

I'm not going to count the home built Sinclair amps and similar that I messed about with. First proper system - Sansui AU222 amp (wish I still had that) Goldring/Lenco GL69 Home built speakers (Wharfedale units) Sony TC160 cassette deck (top loader) Loved all of it. This would have been...

    1960s Dansette Musique Radiogram

www.vintage-radio.net/forum/ is the site to go to if you need any help, advice, assistance etc. Plenty of guys on here who repair and rebuild Dansettes and other early record players. I do a bit myself, but there people more experienced than me on this site. Doesn't matter that it's not...

    Light rock

I'll put in Uriah Heep, Wishbone Ash, Scorpions, and if you want it a bit 'bluesy' then Ten Years After and Groundhogs.

    MCR603 playing up a bit

Hi Chebby, I wondered yesterday if you might come up on this thread. I know you were quite impressed with the 603, as I am. Alas, I have no iphone, ipad or ipod. Got bluetooth but the 603 hasn't. Not a bother for me, only use radio/internet radio as background noise in the house so not that...
